Delete your Paave account
This page is for the Paave app (iOS and Android) and the Paave website at paave.ai, developed and operated by DIFISOFT HOLDING COMPANY PTE. LTD. It explains how to delete your account and your data.
Delete your account in the Paave app
- Open the Paave app and sign in.
- Open the Settings tab, tap Settings, then open App settings.
- Under Account, tap Delete account.
- Enter your account email to confirm, then tap Delete account.
- We email you a confirmation link. Your account is deleted only after you open that link, sign in with your password on the Paave website and confirm.
If you signed up with Apple or Google and have no password yet, the app asks you to add a password first (Add password), because the deletion is confirmed on the website with a password sign-in.
On the website, the only deletion step is that confirmation page, which opens from the email. The website has no separate button to start a deletion.
Deleting your account cannot be undone. Under Settings > App settings > Account, Deactivate account is different: it locks your account for a while and does not delete your data. Contact us to reactivate it.
Request deletion without the app
If you cannot use the app, email [email protected] from the email address of your Paave account. Put "Delete my Paave account" in the subject and include your Paave username.
We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
What is deleted and what we keep
When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data. Deletion may not happen at once in every system.
- Deleted: your profile (including your date of birth), your sign-in methods, your two-step verification factors, your passkeys, your API keys, and your Apple or Google sign-in links. Your Sign in with Apple authorisation is revoked.
- Kept for a limited time or purpose: limited records where needed for security, to prevent abuse, to resolve disputes or to meet legal obligations — for example, a record of security changes that holds no passwords or keys. The privacy policy sets no fixed period for these records.
- App analytics data: kept for 14 months.
- Your securities account: deleting your Paave account does not close any account you hold with a securities company.
