Frequently asked questions
Short answers about how Paave works.
Getting started
What is Paave?
Paave helps you research Vietnam stocks and test your ideas with virtual money. It includes market data, virtual trading practice, the PaaveClaw AI assistant and the Arena investor community. Paave is operated by Difisoft.
Is it real money?
No. Paave uses virtual money for practice. It is not cash and cannot be withdrawn. Real market prices, simulated matching — results can differ from real trading.
How do I start?
Get the Paave app: scan the QR code on this page, or tap Get the app on your phone. Create a Paave account and verify your email with a one-time code. Your practice account starts with 1 billion VND in virtual money.
Which order types can I practice?
Practice 10 supported virtual order types: LO, ATO, ATC, MTL, MOK, MAK, PLO, stop-limit, stop-market and odd lot. Some are limited to one exchange: ATO to HOSE, and MOK, MAK and PLO to HNX. You place them in the Paave app; PaaveClaw places virtual limit orders only.
How do margin and futures practice work?
Margin practice lets you borrow virtual money, so you can see how interest, margin calls and forced selling affect a virtual account. Futures practice uses a separate virtual wallet for VN30 and VN100 index futures, with daily profit and loss and final settlement at expiry simulated. Neither uses real credit, contracts or money, and both are in the Paave app.
How realistic is the matching?
Prices are real market prices, but matching is simulated. It uses the order book shown when you place a virtual order and the trades reported after it, and counts volume already waiting at your price first. Auction orders fill at the auction price, and results include trading fees and tax. Each virtual order fills on its own, so results can differ from real trading.
Which languages are supported?
Website pages are in Vietnamese, English, Korean and Simplified Chinese. Account screens on the web are also available in Vietnamese, English, Korean and Simplified Chinese. PaaveClaw replies in 7 languages: Vietnamese, English, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Indonesian and Chinese.
PaaveClaw and markets
What is PaaveClaw?
PaaveClaw is Paave's AI assistant, in the app and on Telegram. Ask about stocks, news, company information and your virtual portfolio. PaaveClaw answers from Paave's market data and news. News answers show the original source. Check before you make an investment decision. In chat, PaaveClaw places virtual limit orders only, after you confirm, and it cannot place real-money orders.
Which markets does Paave cover?
HOSE, HNX, UPCoM and VN index futures.
What will Telegram send me, and how do I turn it off?
On Telegram, PaaveClaw can send market open and close notices, daily briefings on trading days and your virtual order fills, according to your notification settings. You need to link your Paave account first. Send /briefings off in the chat to stop briefings, and use the notification settings in the app to choose the rest. Paave's official Telegram bot is @PaaveClawBot. It messages you only after you link your Paave account, according to your notification settings. It never asks for money or passwords.
Arena and your account
Are Arena rankings real returns?
No. Rankings compare recorded virtual results for the selected period. They do not predict real-money results and are not recommendations.
Is my data shared?
Other members can view your virtual portfolio and virtual performance unless one of you blocks the other. When member posting opens, trade cards in journal posts are shared only when you attach them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your personal data.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. You can delete your Paave account yourself.
